Citizen dies in hiking accident in Oman

Muscat: A citizen who fell from a mountain in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has died, Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said.

CDAA said in a statement: "Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate responded to the accident of a citizen who fell from a mountain ridge in Jabal Hat in the Wilayat of Al Hamra. The teams were able to reach him despite the difficult mountainous terrain, and took him to the hospital where he died."
