Three expats arrested, drug haul busted by ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) in Dhofar Governorate has arrested three expatriates on charges of possessing 14 kilograms of hashish and 280 tablets of Captagon.

 ROP said in a statement: “The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the Dhofar Governorate Police, in cooperation with the Special Task Forces of Salalah, arrested three people of Asian and African nationalities, and seized 14 kilograms of hashish and 280 Captagon tablets. Legal procedures are being completed against them.”
