Oman government gives wheat subsidy to this company

Muscat: Oman Flour mills Company has received a letter from the government for the subsidy of wheat due to the sharp rise in global wheat prices .

The Company said: "We would like to disclose that Oman Flour Mills Company (SAOG) has received a letter from the government for the subsidy of wheat effective 1 May, 2022, as global wheat prices have seen sharp increase. The government is keen to stabilise the prices of flour in local market. Further details will be disclosed along with the financial statements."
