Muscat: President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt met at Al Alam Palace guest house in Muscat on Tuesday Omani businessmen and businesswomen.
The meeting aims at promoting business and investment relations between the two countries. The meeting comes within the framework of the official, current visit paid by the Egyptian President to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Egyptian President affirmed his country’s preparedness to offer all incentives to Omani investors wishing to invest in various economic fields. He also underlined the crucial role carried out by the private sector in the two countries.
Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion gave a speech saying that the visit represents a sincere desire to build up a growing partnership in strategic economic sectors and enhance efforts of investment and commercial exchange in a manner that reflects the comparative and competitive advantages enjoyed by the two countries.
On her turn, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development underscored in her speech the importance of cooperation and entering into investment partnerships to achieve joint interests for the good of the two countries.
The meeting saw a presentation by the Egyptian side highlighting investment opportunities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, its legal procedures governing these opportunities in various economic fields.
