Muscat: The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt left the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday after a two-day official visit. He was bid farewell by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs.
The Oman News Agency said: "His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, concluded his two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman. He was bid farewell by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs."
His Excellency also sent an invitation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to attend the 27th Summit of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-27).
Oman News Agency,(ONA), said: “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from his brother, President Abdel Fattah el Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including an invitation to His Majesty to attend the 27th summit meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-27), which will be held in November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh.”
