Muscat: President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt received His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers at his residence at Al Alam Palace guesthouse on Tuesday.
The meeting explored areas of cooperation between the two countries and means of promoting them in various areas.
It also reviewed the distinguished relations and historical ties binding the two countries and peoples. In addition, it discussed a set of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended from the Omani side by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance (Head of the Mission of Honour), Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League.
It was attended from the Egyptian side by Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Major General Abbas Kamel, Chief of the Intelligence Service, Khalid Radi, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman and Ambassador Bassam Radi, Spokesman of the Presidency.
