Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Order of Al Nu’man (First class) on Dr. Tibor Szatmari, Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to the Sultanate of Oman.
The order reflects His Majesty the Sultan’s recognition of the efforts of the ambassador in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The order was handed over by HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received the Hungarian ambassador in his office here today to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.
The ambassador expressed his thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to him during his tour of duty in Oman from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people, which enabled him to carry out his tasks.
He also expressed his best wishes of good health, happiness and long life to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing the Sultanate of Oman further development and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
On his turn, HH Sayyid Asa’ad expressed his utmost appreciation to the ambassador for the efforts he exerted in serving the relations between Oman and Hungary, wishing him permanent success and the people of his country further progress and prosperity.
The conferment ceremony was attended by the Secretary General and the two advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad.
