Muscat: Firefighting teams were able to control a fire that broke out in a workshop which sells used spare parts in South Al Batinah Governorate.
The authority said: "The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, with the support of the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, were able to control a fire that broke out in a workshop which sells used spare parts in the Industrial Area in the Wilayat of Rustaq. No injuries were reported."
The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority calls on institutions and companies to adhere to safety requirements to avoid risks.
Vehicle fire at hospital parking lot doused
Muscat: A fire broke out in a car in the parking lot of the Royal Hospital, and the firefighting teams were able to control it without registering any injuries.
The Royal Hospital said in a statement: "The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department and the Fire Protection Department team in the hospital responded to a report of a car fire in the hospital's car parks. The teams were able to control the fire, and the material losses did not exceed the burning car, and no injuries were recorded."
In another incident, the firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate dealt with a fire that broke out in a trailer in the Wilayat of Bidbid, without registering any injuries.
