6 tourist sites to be developed in Dhofar

Muscat: Dhofar Municipality has signed an agreement with the Omran Company, for the development of 6 tourist sites in the Governorate of Dhofar.

Oman News Agency said: “Starting construction works to develop some tourist sites in the Governorate of Dhofar within the plans of the Tourism Development Committee in the governorate with the aim of exploiting and developing natural sites that are  available throughout the year, especially in the autumn season.”

His Excellency Azzan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, said that the projects are expected to be completed within the next few months.

His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Head of Dhofar Municipality said: “The agreement concluded with the Oman Tourism Development Company “Omran” includes the development of 6 tourist sites in the Governorate of Dhofar which include the Hamreer Talalat project, the Ain Garziz development project, the Aten Gardens project (camping sites), and Al Mughsail Beach project.”
