Indian school compelling parents to pay fees well before the end of the month

Muscat: Parents whose children attend Indian School Muscat say they are being asked to pay the fees for June even before the month ends, otherwise they will not be able to access their children's report cards.

"Initially, the report cards were supposed to come out yesterday, but the school said they were not ready and asked for two more days," said a parent whose child attends ISM.

"This morning, my wife received a message from my son's teacher, saying the fee had to be paid today, otherwise, our son would not receive his report," he added.

"The school is asking for the fees of April, May and June even before the month of June is over...how is this acceptable?" he added.
