His Majesty Sultan Qaboos receives thanks from Indian president

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of thanks from President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India in reply to His Majesty's congratulatory cable to him on the occasion of being elected as a new president of the Republic.
In his cable, President Kovind expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan's congratulations, wishing His Majesty permanent health and wellbeing, and the Sultanate progress and prosperity.
The Indian president affirmed the strong bilateral relations and historic ties between the two countries and their people.
He also stressed the importance of working together to achieve the joint interests of the two countries, promote security, peace and stability for nations of the region.
