Muscat: Citizens who benefit from the housing loan program run by the Ministry of Housing and Urban planning, whose monthly income is less than OMR 450, will be exempted from paying remaining amounts due.
The decision was taken during the Council of Ministers meeting headed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The Oman News Agency said, “Exempting all citizens who benefit from the housing loan program offered by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning whose monthly income is less than (450) OMR from the remaining amounts due from them."
Oman News Agency said: “The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning clarifies that the supreme directive will include citizens benefiting from the housing loan program whose monthly income is less than 450 OMR, and they number 1,083 cases, amounting to 20 million OMR.”
His Majesty, while chairing the meeting, also directed for an end to the work of the Supreme Committee to tackle Covid-19.
