Muscat: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announces the registration of three new cases of monkeypox and recommends the need to follow health safety procedures.
A statement issued online by the Emirates News Agency, (WAM), said: "The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announces the registration of 3 new cases of monkeypox in the country and recommends that community members follow all safety and health prevention measures, take preventive measures when traveling and gatherings, and avoid unsafe and unhealthy behaviours.”
It is worth noting that the UAE is the only Gulf country that has announced the discovery of monkeypox cases.
