House fire doused in Oman

Muscat: A fire broke out in a house in North Al Batinah, and firefighters were able to control it without registering any injuries.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said: “The firefighting teams in North Al Batinah Governorate managed to put out a fire that broke out in a house in the Dail Al Abdul Salam area in the Wilayat of Saham, without registering any injuries.”

The authority stressed the importance of installing smoke and gas leakage detectors in the home and shutting down electrical appliances immediately after use in order to avoid risks.
