Muscat: Omani diver Omar Al Ghailani has achieved a new national record in the World Diving Championship held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
"Omani diver Omar Al Ghailani achieved first place in the World Diving Championship held in the Arab Republic of Egypt among 17 professional divers from 14 countries," Oman News Centre said.
Al Ghailani achieved a new national record in Constant Weight With Bifins (CWTB) 92 metres and Free Immersion FIM 92 metres. He also won silver medals in Constant Weight CWT 92 metres and Constant Weight With Fins 61 metres.
