Muscat: An increase in the prices of major commodity groups fuelled a rise in inflation in Oman for April, with an increase of 2.7 per cent.
Oman News Agency, ONA, said: “The inflation rate in the Sultanate of Oman increased during April by 2.7 per cent compared to the same month in 2021, and by 0.6 per cent compared to March 2022 as a result of the increase in the prices of the main commodity groups, such as foodstuffs and others.”
