Oman higher education authorities announce admission sorting results

Muscat: Second sorting of results for the academic year 2017/2018 has been announced by the Higher Education Admission Centre (HEAC).
The results showed that 978 males and 1451 females (total 2,429 students) received offers for study programs during this academic year.
While 845 male and female students received offers to study at the government programmes, 176 students received offers for external scholarships and 1,383 students received offers for internal scholarships.
Moreover, 20 students received study seats at the internal grants and 5 students received study steads at the external grants.
