Muscat: Oman Air has called for all Haj passengers travelling from Saudi Arabia to Oman, to arrive at the check-in desks six hours before the flight.
"All Haj passengers travelling from Jeddah on scheduled flights WY672, WY674, WY676 and WY690 are kindly requested to report to the North Terminal, King Abdulaziz International Airport 6 hours before flight departure for a smooth check-in," the airline said in a statement online.
Usually, passengers are advised to report to the airport at least three hours before scheduled time of departure.
Two weeks ago, An Oman Air flight scheduled to leave Bangkok for Muscat was cancelled after a technical glitch, leaving passengers stuck for two days before alternative flights could be found, according to the airline.
