Bus catches fire on Sultan Qaboos Highway

Muscat: A bus caught fire on the Sultan Qaboos Highway in Muscat.
The incident left traffic backed up, and staff and students stuck within Muscat University as firefighters tackled the blaze.
"The bus fire occurred in front of Muscat University at 2:24pm, with no casualties or injuries," said an official from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
PACDA were quick to respond and were able to contain the fire within minutes.
