Palm tree fruiting season begins in Oman

Muscat: The palm tree fruiting season has begun in the Wilayat of Nizwa in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, in "Al-Turath neighborhood" of the village of Firq.

Farmer Salem bin Saleh Al Kindi said that the palm trees type of "Qash Qantara and Qash manoma" on his farm are considered early-starting date palms, due to the high air temperatures and the advanced "pollination" of the palm, which was sown last December.”
