OMR 100 fine to be imposed for littering :Muscat Municipality

Muscat: A fine of OMR 100 will be imposed on anyone who disposes of waste in unspecified locations, said Muscat Municipality. 

"Anyone who disposes of waste in places not designated for it shall be punished with a fine of OMR 100, and in case of repetition the fine shall be doubled. The violator shall be given a grace period of one day to transport the waste to the places designated for it," the municipality said in a statement.
