Section of Muscat-Nizwa road will be closed over Eid holidays

Muscat: A section of the road from Muscat to Nizwa near Al Jafnayn intersection will be closed over the holidays for resurfacing, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced on Wednesday.

"As part of the resurfacing work carried out by Orpic, the right road towards Muscat on Al Jafnayn intersection in Al Seeb will be partially closed, starting Thursday, August 31 until Monday, September 4th," ROP said in a statement.

ROP warned users of the road to drive with care and to follow traffic signs in the area.
