Power cut in Oman? Now you can check online

Muscat: Information on emergency and scheduled power cuts can now be viewed online via the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) website.

"You can now find information on programmed and emergency interruptions through our website," MEDC said in a tweet.

The power shutdown notice page provides information such as date, area, start and end time and the type of power shut down.

Three power cuts are planned for today, according to the site.

There will be disruption to supply in Al Amerat from 8am to 2pm, another in Al Mawaleh South from 8am to 4pm, and a third in Al Khoud from 8am to 4pm.
