Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
1 medium size onion - finely chopped
200 gms mushroom - finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic , minced
2-3 sprigs of parsley- finely chopped
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
10 small sheets of Filo pastry
Preparation
For the filling / stuffing
Melt the butter over medium heat in a heavy bottom sauce pan .
Add the garlic , onions , mushroom and sprinkle salt and pepper and stir fry until the onions and mushroom are tender and cooked .
Once cooked , add chopped parsley and stir well to combine .
Cook the stuffing / filling mixture for a few more minutes, reduce the heat to let all the water evaporate from the mushroom mixture .
Add the cheese once the mixture cools and mix well .
Stuff the mushroom cheese mix into the ready filo pastry sheets .
Preheat the oven to 400 degree F and bake till the strudels are brown and well done for about 20 minutes .
