Kempinski Hotel Muscat is proud to announce that during the annual meeting held by Les Clefs d`Or UAE and the Oman Concierge Group, Yasser Al Balushi, Assistant Chief Concierge, was pinned with the “Golden Keys” of Les Clefs d’Or.
This represents his entrance to the Les Clefs d’Or family, which consists of an elite group of concierges from around the world. The Golden Key Hotel Concierge is the ultimate insider, knows everything about anything and can open the doors that no others can.
As a Golden Key member, concierges have to go through a rigorous process of evaluation to qualify, such as having worked a minimum of five years in a hotel, written exams to test their knowledge and references from current and previous employers to name a few. Usually found in five-star hotels around the world, they have the skills, knowledge base and contacts to open doors for both leisure and business travellers alike.
General Manager Carsten Wiegandt said “we are beyond proud to have one of our team members, representing our hotel and being recognized in the most elite organisation of concierge members from around the world. I am certain that Yasser will continue to uphold the promise of not only Les Clefs d’Or, but also Kempinski Hotel Muscat in making the impossible possible every day and creating beautiful performances.”
Yasser is the second concierge member from Kempinski Hotel Muscat to receive the Golden Keys, joining the hotel in June 2018 after being a concierge for over 10 years. His valuable experience and knowledge has proven to be of great asset to any organisation he works in.
