Oman's foreign ministry secretary general receives credentials of German ambassador

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry received at the General Diwan of the ministry on Tuesday a copy of credentials of Thomas Friedrich Schneider, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany appointed to the Sultanate.
Sayyid Badr welcomed the ambassador, wishing him success in his new tour of duty and the relations between the Sultanate and Germany further progress, cooperation and growth.
The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries. They also discussed means of enhancing cooperation in various fields to serve the joint interests within the framework of the good relations binding them. They also touched upon several regional and international issues of common concern.
