Kinder Surprise: Salmonella contamination warning issued

Muscat: Food Safety and Quality Centre has warned that the Kinder Surprise Maxi product may be contaminated with salmonella bacteria.

In a warning issued by the centre it said: “The Food Safety and Quality Centre warns of the possibility of contamination of the Kinder Surprise Maxi 100 gm product, which has an expiry date of October 1, 2022, and based on technical information and international notifications, the centre’s specialists have taken the necessary measures to ensure that the market is free of this product according to the numbers. The centre calls upon consumers to avoid and dispose of the product and to report it."
