Planning to visit South Korea? Here's what you need to know

Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Seoul has issued a statement for Omani citizens wishing to visit the Republic of Korea.

A statement issued online by the embassy said :"The embassy would like to draw the attention of dear citizens wishing to visit Korea, that in the context of easing travel procedures to Korea, the Korean authorities have started since the first of April to receive requests for travel visas through the website https://www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do or through the K-ETA application."

"All arrivals to Korea are required to present a negative certificate for the PCR examination, and that less than 180 days have passed since the second dose of vaccination against Covid-19 was taken. Provided that a one-night quarantine is applied to all those coming to Korea in the hotel in which the reservation was made, " the embassy added.
