Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the National Survey Authority (NSA), on Tuesday took part in the 9th meeting of United Nations - Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) for Arab States Committee, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Held via video-conferencing, the meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation among the member states of the committee.
The meeting also stressed the importance of exchanging expertise of countries that would contribute in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The meeting also reviewed the annual report of the Arab Committee and a report of the UN-GGIM, submitted to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
