Muscat: While cloudy skies are forecast over the coastal and mountainous areas of Dhofar with intermittent rain, the rest of the Sultanate will experience mainly clear skies, with chances of clouds developing over Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon.
"Low-level cloud is predicted over the coastal areas of Buraimi of Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta, governorates," according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation.
Temperatures around the Sultanate will vary from 27 degrees in Nizwa to 25 degrees in Salalah. In Muscat, the temperature will reach up to 31 degrees during the day and 27 degrees at night. Sur, Masirah, and Sohar will be mostly sunny with temperatures of 32, 27 and 32 degrees respectively.
Winds will be light to moderate during the day and night along the coastal areas of the Gulf of Oman, while winds will be moderate along coastal areas of the Arabian Sea.
The Arabian Sea is expected to be rough compared to the moderate state forecast for the Gulf of Oman and Musandam.
