People invited to look for Ramadan crescent in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs (MERA) has invited people to look for the Ramadan crescent on Friday, April 1, 2022.

"The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs calls on everyone to search for the sighting of the crescent of Ramadan for this year, on Friday evening, 29th Sha’ban 1443, which corresponds to April 1, 2022 with the need to adhere to the instructions issued by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19," the Ministry said in a statement.
