Muscat: The Zubair Furnishing Company, one of the subsidiaries of The Zubair Corporation, announced the handover of its latest project in the hospitality sector in the capital. The project is the four-star Avani Muscat Hotel, located in Al Maabila, Wilayat Al Seeb, which is owned by Safari International Group and managed by Minor Hotels.
On this occasion, Rami Farhat, General Manager of Avani Muscat said, “We are pleased to open the four-star Avani Muscat Hotel in the capital. The hotel encompasses an area of 20,000 square metres and comprises 206 Rooms (161 Rooms in Hotel and 45 Rooms in Apartment). It also includes a ballroom for events that can accommodate up to 900 people and several meeting rooms and other facilities. The new hotel is owned by Safari International Group and managed by Minor Hotels, which is renowned for its world-class hospitality services. We are pleased to join hands with The Zubair Furnishing, which has a long and expansive history in this field and which was showcased in the implementation of this project. We look forward to welcoming guests to experience the great product and service at Avani Muscat Hotel.”
Mohammed Hassan Al Tamari, Deputy General Manager of The Zubair Furnishing, said, “We are pleased to collaborate once again with Thai-based Minor Hotels with the launch of Avani Muscat Hotel, having previously worked with the group for the launch of sister property Anantara Salalah. Avani Muscat is Minor Hotels’ third hospitality venture in the Sultanate, in addition to two Anantara resorts in Jabal Al Akhdar and Salalah. We believe that this cooperation stems from their confidence in The Zubair Furnishing, given our achievements over the five decades of continuous work.”
“As part of the contract, The Zubair Furnishing supplied and installed furniture, fixtures and equipment for the hotel. This was in addition to the preparation of guest rooms, apartments and public areas including the reception hall, business hall, banquet halls and outdoor furnitures,” he added.
The Zubair Furnishing is one of the oldest companies of The Zubair Corporation, which was established in 1971 and specialized in the implementation of furnishing projects for hotels and high-end residential and commercial complexes. Over the past five decades, the company has obtained many international certificates such as ISO 9001; 2015 Quality Certificate in recognition of its ability to implement projects with professional quality.
