Muscat: All Omani nationals and students studying in Australian universities in the state of Queensland are fine, the Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Australia said after floods swept the state.
"The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Australia reassures everyone of the safety of all Omani nationals and students studying in Australian universities in the state of Queensland, following the recent floods that swept the state," the Consulate General said in a statement.
The Consulate General also calls upon all Omani nationals and students residing in the state of Queensland to take the utmost care and caution, and to follow all instructions and safety measures issued by the competent authorities in the state.
