Earthquake recorded in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake was recorded in Southern Iran on Wednesday, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said.

EMC said in a statement that an earthquake in Southern Iran with a magnitude of 4.7 was recorded at 7.06 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake was recorded 275 km away from Khasab.
