Cloudy weather forecast for parts of Oman

Muscat: Several governorates across Oman will witness cloudy weather with fog formation late at night on Monday as well as early on Tuesday morning, Oman Meteorology has forecast. In addition, the wilayat of Shinas is expected to receive heavy rainfall which could extend as far as the wilayat of Liwa.

Oman Meteorology said: “Currently, rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by hailstorms and sometimes low horizontal visibility is forecast over the wilayat of Shinas, and it may extend towards to wilayat of Liwa in the coming hours.”

Chances of fog and low altitude cloud formation at the end of the night and early morning with low horizontal visibility over parts of the governorates of North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar and Al Buraimi.
