Cairo: The Sultanate on Thursday took part in the emergency meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers, chaired by Algeria, at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo to discuss the latest Israeli attacks and actions in the city of Al Quds and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
The Sultanate's delegation was led in the meeting by Dr. Ali bin Ahmed al-Issa'ee, Sultanate's Ambassador to Egypt, its Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
Said Abu Ali, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for Palestine Affairs, said that the meeting comes within the context of the continuous Arab effort to confront the unprecedented Israeli measures in the occupied Al Quds and Al Aqsa Mosque and its aggression against the Palestinian people, the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al Quds.
He added that the meeting aims to emphasize the rejection of any change in the historical and legal situation in the occupied Eastern Al Quds since 1967, to ensure that these unprecedented measures are not be repeated, so that the situations in Al Quds to be as before 14th July 2017.
