16 arrested for trying to enter the country illegally

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 16 foreigners for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally. 

ROP said in a statement: "Coast Guard Police in North Al Batinah Governorate seizes a smuggling boat off the shores of the governorate with 16 infiltrators of different Asian nationalities on board. The legal procedures are being completed against them."
