Washington: In addition to discussions with US Vice President Mike Pence, President Aleksander Vučić spoke with the chairman and the ranking members of the US Senate Subcommittee on Europe.
Vučić also met with Senator John McCain.
He said he must strive to clear the air regarding historic sore points between the two countries such as the 2008 torching of the U.S. embassy in Belgrade and the case of US citizens the Bytyqi brothers, slain in Petrovo Selo in 1999. Also matters surrounding the assassination of the notorious warlord, Zeljko “Arkan” Raznatovic.
Vučić in regards to the “Arkan” murder seeks America’s help in tracing, arresting and bringing to justice the man identified as the assassin, Dobrosav Gavric who is believed to living in hiding somewhere in Central Africa .
Upon his arrival in the United States on Sunday, President Vučić said that he expected “important talks for Serbia” to take place during his visit.
