Lazaq Roundabout in Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi to open for traffic this week

Al Mudhaibi: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology will this week open for traffic Lazaq Roundabout Project in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The opening of the roundabout project for traffic comes after completion of the civil and asphalt pavement works. The installation of information boards and ground painting is underway at the roundabout.

The new roundabout will connect the villages of the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi and the wilayats of adjacent governorates.

It will also contribute to the economy and tourism in Al Mudhaibi and to the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah, in general.

The roundabout will be helpful for motorists coming from the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, Niyabat of Sinaw and the wilayats of Al Wusta Governorate and driving towards the governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah  and South Al Sharqiyah.

The roundabout would also contribute to reduction of traffic accidents at the old roundabout linking Samad Al Shan – Sinaw road with Masroun road leading to the Wilayat of Ibra.
