News Rewind: Eid holidays announced for public and private sectors in Oman

There was lots happening in Oman in this final week of Ramadan. Here's what made headlines on the Times of Oman, on our weekly News Rewind:
Holidays for the private and public sectors were announced, which will begin on Saturday, June 24, and end on Thursday, June 29. Work is set to resume on Sunday, July 2.
The Implementation Support and Follow-Up Unit (ISFU) is creating awareness about the implentation of Oman's No Objection Certificate (NOC) rule, and has opened up a Twitter poll to ask citizens and residents their opinions about the same.
As of Thursday morning, most voters on the poll had said that they would like to see the NOC rule scrapped, with the poll set to run for another four days.
The Ministry of Health also released a list of 42 expats working as pharmacists in the country, who will soon be replaced with qualified Omani nationals.
India's Home Ministry announced this week that Indians travelling abroad (from India) will no longer need to fill in departure cards while leaving their home country. The decision was made to help reduce time required for immigration procedures, since the same information is already available from other sources, the ministry said.
