Reem Al Alawi to represent Omani young researchers in Lindau Nobel Laureates meeting

Muscat: Young Omani researchers will be represented at the 67th meeting of the Lindau Nobel Laureates in Germany Reem bint Abdullah Al Alawiyah.
The PhD student at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) has been nominated for the purpose by The Research Council (TRC).
The meeting will be attended by a number of Nobel laureates from June 25th to 30th 2017, which will be dedicated this year to the field of chemistry.
The participation of the Omani researchers comes after TRC became an academic partner with the Lindau award meetings starting in 2015.
Based on this partnership, three Omani researchers are nominated to participate in this annual meeting organised by Lindau in Germany.
Reem Al Alawiyah is the second Omani researcher to represent the Sultanate in this meeting after Dr. Rahma bint Khalfan Al Busaidiyah participated in the last edition of the 2016 Lindau Conference.
Reem Al Alawiyah was accepted to participate in the 67th Nobel Laureates in the youth researcher category, thus she will attend all the lectures of the winners of the Landau awards and attend the poster session of the best 30 posters for the young scientists participating in the conference.
