Date Palm offshoots distributed in Oman

Muscat: Date palm offshoots have been distributed to a number of farmers in Al Dhahirah Governorate who were affected by cyclone Shaheen.  

"The  Directorate General of Agricultural  and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate has started distributing palm offshoots in the affected villages in the Wilayats of Ibri and Yanqal Dhank as compensation to the farmers affected by tropical cyclone Shaheen," the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources said in a statement.
