Muscat: A memorandum of partnership has been signed by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Oman Economic Association to hold an economic stimulus conference.
"A memorandum of partnership has been signed between the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Musandam branch and Oman Economic Association to hold an economic stimulus conference with the aim of enhancing means of economic stimulus in the Sultanate of Oman and to identify efforts made to revitalise the economy and evaluate their effectiveness at all levels," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
Dr Khalid bin Said Al Ameri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Economic Association, clarified that the conference, in which an elite group of specialists and economists will participate, aims to evaluate the economic incentives provided by the government during the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the global economic crisis. They will also discuss broader horizons to stimulate the economic sectors, foreign investment, the business environment and the integration of policies.
