Real estate brokers in Oman asked to get licence

Muscat: Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing issued the ministerial circular No. 6/2017 about activating the real estate brokerage.
The circular called upon all real estate brokerage companies in the Governorate of Muscat to adjust their legal condition by registering and getting the required licence to practice business no later than May 31, 2017.
After this date, the Ministry will stop all transactions for real estate brokerage companies that have not received the e-licence.
