Social security beneficiaries in this governorate cross 7,000

Muscat: Over OMR 700,000 has been paid to more than 7,000 social security beneficiaries in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate till the end of July 2021.

"The total number of social security cases in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah until the end of July 2021, reached 7,061 cases, and around OMR 709,166 has been paid to them per month," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Maamari, Assistant Director-General for Social Development in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, said that there are five government centres for the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, comprising approximately 1,436 persons, that provide treatment and rehabilitation programmes for various disabilities.
