Muscat: The Higher Education Admission Centre has announced the results of admission for the first screening for the academic year 2021/2022.
“Higher Education Admission Centre at the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation announces the results of admission for the first screening for the academic year 2021/2022,” Oman News Agency, (ONA), said in a statement.
Dr. Hamad bin Khalfan Al-Noamani, Director General of Higher Education and Internal and External Scholarships, said that the percentage of occupied seats amounted to 81.8 per cent of the total number of available seats, which is 33,577 academic seats, noting that government higher education institutions have absorbed 61 per cent of the total accepted, and the percentage of those accepted in internal and external scholarships is 39 per cent of the total.
Al-Nomani clarified that accepted students must complete their registration procedures in higher education institutions and the entities they are accepted in, between tomorrow, Monday, and 2 PM on Sunday, 12 September.
