Over 2.5 million vaccinated against COVID-19 in Oman

Muscat: As many as 2,504,214 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since the launch of the National Immunisation Campaign as of Sunday.

This covers 71 per cent of Oman's target population.

Of these, 1,256,008 people -- 36 per cent of the target population -- have been administered the first dose of a vaccine approved in Oman, while 1,248,206 -- 35 per cent of the target population -- have been fully immunised.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health continues vaccinating target segments across governorates as vaccination centres witness a good daily turnout.
