Consumer Protection Authority monitors cooking gas price in Oman

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority conducted an inspection campaign for warehouses and cooking gas vehicles in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The Consumer Protection Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate implemented an inspection campaign for warehouses and cooking gas sales vehicles in Sur, Al Kamil and Al Wafi, Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, Jalan Bani Bu Ali and Masirah. After monitoring the fluctuations in the prices of cooking gas cylinders, the suppliers were told to adhere to the prices set by the authority concerned and not to misuse value added tax.
