Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a written message from Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus on the good relations between the two friendly countries, as well as the existing cooperation between them in many fields.
The message was received by His Highness Sayyid As'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on Monday.
During the meeting, the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Minister conveyed the greetings of the president of the Republic of Belarus along with his wishes of good health to the Monarch of the State and further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.
Sayyid As'ad bin Tariq Al Said requested the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Minister to convey the greetings and good wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to the Belarusian President and the Belarusian friendly people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting reviewed the bilateral good relations between the two friendly countries and means to enhance and develop them in different fields. It also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interests.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Saif bin Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Office of H.M. the Sultan's Representative, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Badi, Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisors at the Office of H.M the Sultan's Representative,
Dr. Sergei Rachkov, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Sultanate.
