Historical Association of Oman to get Board of Directors

Muscat: The Minister of Heritage and Tourism has issued a ministerial decision to form the Board of Directors of the Historical Association of Oman.

"His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, issues a ministerial decision to form the Board of Directors of  Historical Association of Oman, which is specialised in studying and disseminating fields of knowledge in Oman heritage, history and civilisation, and contributing to the preservation, protection and documentation of Oman heritage, organising events and communicating with relevant scientific and intellectual institutions locally and globally," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
